When I was 13 I decided to make my first knife. All the knives that I had seen or used seemed cheap and dull, and the journey began in my dads garage.

I watched a few videos online and found books to guide me then set off to make my first knife. Looking back now I see that I had a lot to learn and i’m still learning new techniques and skills to this day. The first knife was very crude if you can even call a mid steel shank a knife.

My family has always been very supportive of my craft even though I may have caught the garage on fire a few times.
